ThreatMetrix Updates Smart Analytics Platform

The new release includes a Smart Analytics that pairs behavioral analytics with machine learning for a more integrated approach, a new software development kit (SDK) for Apple OS X and Microsoft Windows endpoint and desktop applications. The new SDK offers a faster way to activate endpoint applications across the business. The SDK also profiles devices for specific platform-based applications, providing advanced risk analysis, fraud detection and device recognition. The update also includes an integrated two-factor authentication capability to strengthen user identity verification and a new identity verification capabilities combining static and dynamic data to gain a more accurate risk score for every user identity. This can reduce instances of step-up authentication, further reducing cost to the customer and removing friction from the consumer experience. Smart Analytics not only includes the Smart Rules behavioral analytics algorithms and a transparent approach to machine learning called Smart Learning but also a customizable toolset that enables customers to more accurately detect and analyze changes in user behavior, helping to more accurately identify fraudsters.
