The client requested a team with prior experience in federal law enforcement and entertainment venue security to perform an after-action review and determine the security posture of their staff. After an extensive investigation, Guidepost Solutions provided 28 physical and digital security recommendations to improve the existing technology and architecture while also overseeing the implementation of the new security measures. Because of Guidepost Solutions’ swift assessment and proactive project plan, their client resumed event venue operations with a security system better suited to thwart threats and also allowed them to convey a message of safety assurance to the public for future events.

Prior to joining Guidepost, Doss spent four years in a leadership consulting position serving as the cybersecurity and incident response global lead for a risk consulting firm. He also spent more than 20 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, rising to the highest levels of leadership, reporting directly to the director.

Corwin has more than 20 years of experience specializing in privacy, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity with specialized hands-on experience directing the implementation and integration of secure design principles and service engineering initiatives leveraging the latest technologies. He has a successful track record of facilitating technology-business alignment while balancing risk exposure and corporate growth. Corwin also has extensive expertise in analyzing technical architecture to attain and demonstrate best-in-class industry and regulatory standards compliance in global environments. Prior to joining Guidepost, Corwin was a security GRC leader at NYDIG, a leading financial institution offering a full suite of services for institutions and corporations, including crypto asset custody. Louis J. Milione returns to Guidepost Solutions as President of Global Investigations and Regulatory Compliance

NEW YORK - Guidepost Solutions, a global leader in domestic and international investigations, compliance solutions, monitoring, and security and technology consulting, today announced that Louis J. Milione has rejoined the firm as President of Global Investigations and Regulatory Compliance.

Before his recent appointment, Milione held the position of Principal Deputy Administrator at the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration). As the second-highest-ranking official at the DEA, Milione was responsible for leading an organization consisting of more than 10,000 public servants, which included 5,000 Special Agents, 800 Intelligence Analysts, and 700 Diversion Investigators. These dedicated professionals were deployed across the DEA's 334 offices worldwide.

From 2017 to 2021, Milione served as a Senior Managing Director in Guidepost Solutions' Monitoring, Compliance, and Investigations practice. In this role, he conducted sensitive investigations both on the international and domestic fronts. Additionally, he played a key role in establishing the company's Controlled Substances Act (CSA) and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) DEA Compliance Practice.

Before joining Guidepost Solutions in 2017, Milione had an extensive career spanning over two decades with the DEA, where he played a vital role in overseeing global investigations and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations. Between 2015 and 2017, he held the position of Assistant Administrator, leading the DEA's Diversion Control Division. In this capacity, he was responsible for regulating more than 1.65 million DEA registrants within the entire pharmaceutical supply chain.

Prior to his role in the DEA's Diversion Control Division, Milione served as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) of the DEA's Bilateral Investigations Unit (BIU), a part of the DEA's Special Operations Division. Over the course of more than a decade, starting as a founding member of the BIU in 2002 and later being promoted to the role of ASAC, Milione and his teams conducted operations across Africa, Asia, Latin America, Central America, and Europe. They played a pivotal role in leading some of the most sensitive and significant criminal investigations within the Department of Justice.
